If you crave technical challenges, architectural ownership, and the thrill of building a robust, scalable platform from the ground up, keep reading this role could be the career-defining adventure youve been looking forWhat Were Looking For : - 5+ Years of Backend Engineering Experience : You have a proven track record of building and scaling backend systems for consumer-facing products, preferably in EdTech or high traffic consumer tech.- Deep Expertise in NodeJS & NestJS : You are a master of the NodeJS ecosystem, with significant hands-on experience building applications with the NestJS framework. Your knowledge of TypeScript is top-notch.- Strong Architectural Skills : You don't just write code; you design systems. You have experience with microservices architecture, designing RESTful APIs, and working with both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis) databases.- Team Leadership & Mentorship : Youve mentored junior engineers, led technical projects, and know how to foster a collaborative and high-performing engineering culture. Your code reviews are constructive and insightful.- Problem-Solver & Analytical Mindset : You love digging into complex problems. You are comfortable with logging, monitoring (e.g., Datadog, New Relic), and performance-tuning to find and fix bottlenecks.- Startup Attitude : Resourceful, proactive, and ready to hustle. You take ownership, move fast, and thrive in an environment where youre building from scratch. (If youve been an early engineer at a startup, thats a huge plus.)- Education Background : A degree in Computer Science or a related field is great, but your experience and a strong GitHub profile matter more.Location : Gurgaon or Jodhpur with flexible remote options for the right candidate.
