Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer with expertise in Ruby and Laravel frameworks to join our team. As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of our web applications. Your primary focus will be on developing software, ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of our software solutions.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain scalable, robust, and efficient web applications using Ruby frameworks.
  • Design and implement front-end components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring a seamless user experience across various devices and browsers.
  • Collaborate with designers to translate design mockups into responsive web interfaces.
  • Implement client-side validations and enhance user interactions using JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js or React.
  • Design and optimize database schemas using MySQL and SQL, ensuring data integrity and performance.
  • Write efficient and optimized SQL queries to fetch and manipulate data from databases.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services to extend the functionality of web applications.
  • Implement and maintain authentication and authorization mechanisms to ensure the security of web applications.
  • Deploy and manage web applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure (preference for AWS).
  • Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in web development, and recommend best practices to enhance development processes.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (recommended but not required).
  • Proven minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a focus on Ruby and Laravel frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Proven experience in PosgrsSQL and MongoDB databases.
  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as Vue.js or React is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in MySQL and SQL, with experience in database design and optimization.
  • Experience deploying and managing web applications on cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies is a plus.
  • Certification in AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure is desirable.
