Job Description :
Massive Mobility is a start-up that leverages the power of technology to create a robust electric mobility ecosystem in India. We are designing innovative products for the EV industry - think fast charging stations, non-hackable electric vehicles, and so on - and are looking for enthusiastic engineers to join us.
We are looking for candidates with :
- Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
Role :
As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end web applications and systems. With a strong background in back-end technologies, you will play a critical role in the entire software development life cycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
Responsibilities :
- Develop & maintain high-quality web applications with a focus on user experience, functionality & performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers & other developers, to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design & implement scalable & robust architectures for web applications, ensuring efficient integration of front-end & back-end components.
- Write clean, modular, and well-documented code using industry best practices and coding standards.
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed, scalability & security.
- Conduct thorough testing & debugging of applications to ensure highest level of quality & reliability.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, frameworks & trends in full-stack development, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to deploy & manage applications in production environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by users, ensuring timely resolution & minimal disruption to the application's functionality.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers, fostering a collaborative & knowledge-sharing culture within the team.
Required Skill Set :
- 3+ years of overall experience with a good amount of work preferably in a product development company.
- Expertise in back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, or Java, along with frameworks (e.g., Express, Django, Ruby on Rails, Spring).
- Extensive experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs & microservices architectures.
- In-depth knowledge of database systems, including both relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and experience in deploying & managing applications in cloud environments.
- Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills & ability to work independently and in team environment.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate & communicate technical concepts to both technical & non-technical stakeholders.
