JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Manager for Facility Management to oversee the operation and maintenance of our manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will be an expert in preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of panels, substation equipment, load banks, DG sets, transformers, and other facilities. Additionally, this role requires a strong focus on safety management across the entire facility. The candidate should have approximately 20 years of experience in operations and facility management within a manufacturing plant setting.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Facility Operations and Maintenance:

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the plant, ensuring all equipment and facilities function efficiently and effectively.
  • Implement and monitor preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance programs for panels, substation equipment, load banks, DG sets, transformers, and other critical facilities.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.


Safety Management:

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive safety programs and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections, identifying potential hazards and implementing corrective actions.
  • Provide training and guidance on safety procedures and best practices to all facility personnel.


Team Leadership and Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of maintenance and facility professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Allocate resources effectively, ensuring timely and efficient completion of maintenance tasks and projects.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback to team members to support their professional development.


Budget and Resource Management:

  • Develop and manage the facility maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Monitor and control maintenance expenses, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Coordinate with procurement for the purchase of maintenance supplies, equipment, and services.


Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and codes related to facility management and maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on facility operations, maintenance activities, and safety performance to senior management.



QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in facility management are preferred.

Experience: Approximately 20 years of experience in maintenance and facility management within a manufacturing plant, with a proven track record of managing large-scale operations and maintenance teams.

Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance for panels, substation equipment, load banks, DG sets, transformers, and other facilities.

Safety Expertise: Strong understanding of safety management practices and regulations, with experience in developing and implementing safety programs.

Leadership: Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team of professionals.

Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing maintenance and safety issues.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Certifications: Relevant certifications in facility management (e.g., Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facility Management Professional (FMP)) or maintenance (e.g., Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP)).

Software Skills: Proficiency in facility management software and tools for maintenance scheduling, tracking, and reporting.
