About The Role

  • Follow projects through from prototype to final detailed design
  • Design for manufacturing(DFM) and Design for assembly(DFA) keeping into consideration the fabrication processes, tolerances and other relevant constraints
  • Design components for various fabrication processes such as Fibre-Reinforced composites, 3D printing, metal machining and injection molding
  • Design enclosures for electronic components and accessories
  • Collaborate with the electronic design team and aircraft design team for a streamlined product development
  • Design mechanical, electro-mechanical subsystems for UAV subsystems
  • Generate Class-A surfaces for aircraft sub-assemblies
  • Provide assistance in material selection, process selection, BOM generation and vendor identification
  • Design of product packaging, branding and logos

What are we looking for

  • Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Design or any other relevant discipline
  • Proficient in Fusion 360 or similar CAD tools
  • Ability to create and interpret engineering drawings
  • Good 3D visualization intuition and hands-on skills
  • Firsthand working knowledge of materials, tooling & fixtures, machining and relevant manufacturing processes like  composites and 3D printing.
