The Group You’ll Be A Part Of

You will be owning projects/initiatives to develop, optimize and implement product/process improvement solutions which will aid in design and development of Lam Products. These projects/initiatives would be driven as part of continuous improvement in Product development lifecycle. Collaborate with both internal and external cross functional teams for project deliverables and goals, document and report project progress and results, communicate milestones and deliverables to stakeholders. Accountable for delivering on time with quality as part of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), as well as consistent improvement in efficiency.

As a Project Engineer at Lam, you're not merely managing projects - you're driving advancements integral to the design and development of Lam's products. Leading cross-functional teams, you'll steer the execution of engineering projects, leveraging your technical prowess and strategic insight to deliver enhanced products. Your focus on continuous improvement in the development lifecycle will be pivotal as you own project to optimize and enhance Lam's offerings.

Who We’re Looking For

Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 6 to 8 Yrs Exp.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in driving concurrent engineering projects involving fluid systems, fabricated & machined components/assemblies based on DFX skills. Expertise in Sheet metal manufacturing processes and material selection. Experience in design for manufacturing & assembly Experience in design for serviceability. Experience in working collaboratively with Cross functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply chain, Electrical/controls engineering and Product safety) to meet project deliverables. Experience in OEM Component selection (Mechanical parts). Exposure in Plastic materials, Plastic manufacturing processes (Machining and Jointing / Traditional / Additive mfg) Exposure to Structural and Thermal design validation through FEA and Theoretical calculations. Demonstrated strong Problem Solving and Decision-Making ability by applying structured process or tools such as 8Ds, Fishbone, 5 Whys, Pugh matrix, Pareto chart, etc. Demonstrations of Owning and driving team KPI’s. Exposure to department engineering process flows & actions to meet the requirements.

Desired Skills

Knowledge on 3D Modelling, Assembly and Detailing using NX or any CAD software Knowledge on Semiconductor equipment and its Sub Systems.

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
