The role is ideal for candidates withArtios CAD proficiency, costing expertise, and project management capabilities , looking to driveproduct excellence, operational efficiency, and cross-functional collaborationin a fast-paced manufacturing and packaging environment. AsManager – Structural Packaging Development , you will lead a team of Product Development Executives, drivenew product innovations , ensurequality and cost optimization , and manageend-to-end structural packaging projectsacross multiple brands and customers.Key Responsibilities: Structural Packaging Design & Product Development Createconceptual and production-ready designsusingArtios CADand other design tools. Developinnovative structural packaging productsaligned with customer specifications, brand requirements, and functional performance. Preparemock-ups, prototypes, and visual representations , coordinating with Account/Brand Managers for approvals. Arrangeproduct testing, compliance checks, and validationto ensure performance and quality standards. Conductcosting analysis, material selection, and vendor negotiationsfor new product developments. Project Management & Cross-functional Collaboration Lead and managemultiple design and development projects simultaneously , ensuring on-time delivery. Conductpre-development meetings , document discussions, and share minutes with relevant stakeholders. Collaborate withmanufacturing, quality, procurement, and sales teamsto ensure seamless project execution. Monitormanufacturing performance, production efficiency, and quality metricsfor new developments. Technical Expertise & Innovation Apply strong2D/3D visualization, conceptual thinking, and mechanical aptitudeto drive design innovation and problem-solving. Proposealternative designsto enhancefunctionality, shelf appeal, sustainability, and production efficiencywhile minimizing costs. Serve as thetechnical focal pointfor all packaging design projects, providing guidance to team members and stakeholders. Leadership & Team Management Lead and mentor a team ofProduct Development Executives , fostering a culture ofinnovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement . Ensure all projects align withorganizational goals, timelines, and customer expectations . Act as the primary point of contact forstructural packaging design and development initiatives .Ideal Candidate Profile: 10+ years of experienceinStructural Packaging Design and Product Development . 5+ years of experience leading a teamof packaging developers. Hands-on experience inonline printing/proofing , prototyping, andArtios CADsoftware. Bachelor’s degree inDesign, Packaging, or Engineering ; relevant certifications are a plus. Strongproject management, costing, and supplier negotiation skills . ExcellentEnglish communication skills(written and verbal) and high computer literacy ( MS Office, ERP/SAP preferred ).
