In collaboration with Hard.Coded, a leader in software development and technological solutions, we are assembling a high-performance team to deliver a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) within 6 months. By leveraging the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js), we aim to create a solution that is scalable, robust, and cutting-edge. The selected candidates will be part of a dynamic environment where creativity meets technology, leading to unparalleled user experiences and groundbreaking branding strategies.


The Branding Club, together with Hard.Coded, is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our project team. This individual will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between development and operations, ensuring our MVP's continuous delivery, scalability, and resilience. As a DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with the development teams and IT staff to oversee the code releases and deployments. Your expertise will be pivotal in automating and streamlining our operations and processes, building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines).
  • Collaborate with software developers and other IT staff to automate and streamline our operations and processes.
  • Build, maintain, and monitor configuration management, build, release, and deployment systems.
  • Ensure critical system security through the use of best-in-class cloud security solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on development and operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments.
  • Manage code deployments, fixes, updates, and related processes.
  • Actively participate in the design and implementation of application features with an eye toward improving the deployment pipeline.


Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Solid experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role.
  • Proficient with git and git workflows.
  • Working knowledge of databases and SQL.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Perl.
  • Strong experience with Linux-based infrastructures, Linux/Unix administration, and AWS (minimum 3 years).
  • Experience with automation software (e.g., Puppet, cfengine, Chef).
  • Familiarity with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).
  • Strong communication and troubleshooting skills, especially in high-pressure situations.
  • Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, networking, and access management.


Nice to Haves:

  • AWS Solutions Architect Certification or any AWS certification.
  • Experience with MongoDB.
  • 5 years of experience in DevOps is ideal.
