JOB OVERVIEW


The Field Services Manager manages installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities associated with deployed electrolyzer systems. Specifically tasked with managing a team of field engineers and refining their workflows, the individual is responsible for the execution of all site work to support service contract requirements.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement and maintain best in best-in-class safety culture for a team of remote field personnel
  • Manage a remote field team through clear goals and objectives
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize electrolyzer performance through strategic and consistent maintenance activities
  • Optimize workflows to efficiently manage service level agreements
  • Refine electrolyzer installation and commissioning processes to ensure timely availability of hydrogen
  • Implement and refine training programs to establish and maintain field personnel proficiencies
  • Maintain warehouse and repair centers for centralized storage and refurbishment of spare parts
  • Anticipate spare parts and equipment needs to support maintenance requirements
  • Create and document fieldwork best practices
  • Manage process and hardware design improvements
  • Manage overall budget and forecast for maintenance operations
  • Refine and administer an installation and operation customer training program
  • Prepare reports covering tasks, risks, opportunities, and milestones
  • Establish new locations to support the growing fleet of electrolyzers
  • Translate customer operational requirements into supporting maintenance plans


Education and skills required :


a) B Sc / M Sc OR BE / B Tech / ME / M Tech in any engineering discipline

b) Minimum 15yrs of experience in a field service role with exposure to operations and maintenance responsibilities

c) Atleast 8-10 years of team management or leadership experience is required.

d) Experience working in Thermal / Power / Oil and Gas / Solar / Wind / Chemical / Renewable energy industry is preferred
