Job Title : Store ManagerLocation : CuttackExperience : 12+ YearsIndustry Background : FMCGSalary Range : 40k - 50kRole OverviewThe Manager Store (RM & PM) will be responsible for end-to-end management of Raw Materials and Packaging Materials, ensuring seamless availability for production, strict regulatory compliance, and efficient coordination with internal departments. The role requires a seasoned professional with strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of store operations, and proven experience within the FMCG industry.Key Responsibilities1. Inventory ManagementMaintain optimal stock levels and avoid shortages/excess inventoryConduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and physical verificationImplement FIFO / FEFO practices rigorouslyEnsure real-time inventory accuracy through ERP/WMS2. Receiving & StorageSupervise receiving of RM & PM as per quality and specificationsEnsure proper labeling, segregation, and safe storageCoordinate with QC for sampling and clearanceMaintain hygienic storage conditions based on material sensitivity3. Issuance & DispatchIssue materials according to batch requirements and production schedulesEnsure accurate documentation and material traceabilityMaintain inward/outward movement records4. Compliance & DocumentationMaintain all records as per SOPs, GMP, ISO, FSSAI requirementsEnsure complete traceability and batch-wise accountabilityParticipate in internal and external audits5. Team LeadershipSupervise and train store staff for best practices and documentationMonitor team performance and compliance adherence6. Cross-Functional CoordinationCoordinate with Procurement, QC, and Production teamsCommunicate material shortages or surplus proactively7. Safety & HousekeepingEnsure safe handling and storage of hazardous/sensitive materialsMaintain cleanliness, safety, and hygiene in the storeEnforce safety protocols, PPE use, and emergency proceduresCore CompetenciesExpertise in ERP/WMS systemsInventory planning and MIS reportingKnowledge of FMCG industry compliance frameworksStrong leadership and decision-making skillsExcellent documentation and record-keepingStrong communication and coordination skills
