In this role, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing user interfaces for Business Central applications, ensuring they are intuitive, user-friendly, and aligned with the institution's operational needs. You will work closely with various departments to understand their requirements and create designs that enhance the user experience for administrative, academic, and operational functions.Key Responsibilities :- UI Design for Business Central : Design and optimize user interfaces for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central applications, ensuring they are user-friendly, visually appealing, and aligned with institutional goals.- User Experience Enhancement : Work closely with stakeholders, including faculty, administration, and IT, to understand user needs and develop intuitive and effective UI/UX solutions for Business Central.- Customization and Theming : Customize Business Central themes and user interface components to reflect the institution's branding and improve usability for various departments.- Prototyping and Mockups : Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design concepts effectively and receive feedback from stakeholders.- Design Standards : Develop and maintain UI/UX design standards and guidelines for Business Central to ensure consistency and best practices across all applications.- User Testing and Feedback : Conduct user testing and gather feedback to improve the user interface continuously and enhance the overall user experience.- Collaboration : Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other IT team members to ensure that designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.- Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for UI/UX designs, workflows, and design changes.- Continuous Improvement : Stay updated on the latest UI/UX design trends, tools, and technologies, particularly within the context of Business Central, to continually enhance the user :- Experience : 7+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a focus on designing for ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.- Design Skills : Strong proficiency in UI/UX design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar, and experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.- Business Central Expertise : Proven experience designing user interfaces for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, with a deep understanding of its capabilities and limitations.- User-Centric Approach : Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and a passion for creating intuitive and accessible user experiences.- Technical Understanding : Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to collaborate with developers effectively and understand technical constraints.- Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on improving the user experience.- Portfolio : A strong portfolio showcasing previous UI/UX design work, particularly for ERP systems or similar : Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred (ref:hirist.tech)
