- Help us build the next generation of products which deals in disrupting government procurement by aggregating, indexing, analyzing, and otherwise transforming government purchasing data

- Help our backend development team build out our infrastructure, queuing systems

- Design and manage our data stores and enhance our ability to develop robust backend systems to maintain diverse data storage & retrieval :

- Bachelor's degree and above in Computer Science, or similar is strongly preferred

- 5+ years of exposure in overall programming experience

- Experience with Node.js and Typescript

- Understanding of functional programming (solid experience with Lodash, Ramda, and ES6)

- Experience with data stores such as Redis, MongoDB and Elasticsearch

- Good command over queueing systems like node-resque or Temporal workflows

- Good grasp message brokers, and distributed work/batch processing (experience implementing a multi-step data ingestion pipeline is a big plus)

- Solid understanding of distributed computing principles and techniques, including scalability, fault tolerance, and consistency

- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes

- Excellent problem-solving skills & communication skills, including good practices on logging, tracing and alerting on the status of a system

- Brings positive thinking and ability to work constructively in a team setting
