Job Title: Senior Content Writer
Location: Kharadi, Pune 411014 (Hybrid schedule)
Shift Schedule: 2 PM - 11 PM IST
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Content Writer to join our dynamic content team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B technology, a passion for creating high-quality content, and experience in managing content workflows. You will be responsible for developing, editing, and optimizing content across various formats, including articles, news, blogs, white papers, case studies, and more.
The Content Writer should be well-versed in U.S. English and have the ability to create content that resonates with our target readers. Experience in a publishing media company and familiarity with journalistic writing will be considered a strong plus.
Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Write, edit, and proofread high-quality, SEO-friendly content that appeals to our B2B tech audience, covering topics like B2B Marketing, SaaS, AI, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, and Digital Transformation.
- Content Strategy: Collaborate with the editorial team to plan and execute content strategies that align with business objectives and engage our target audience.
- Editing & Proofreading: Review and refine content created by in-house and freelance writers, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and adherence to editorial standards.
- SEO Optimization: Implement SEO best practices, including keyword research and on-page optimization, to enhance content visibility and engagement.
- Project Management: Oversee content calendars, manage deadlines, and collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure timely content delivery.
- Research & Trend Analysis: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure content remains relevant, informative, and forward-thinking.
- Content Distribution: Partner with marketing and social media teams to ensure content is effectively distributed across platforms and reaches a broader audience.
- Metrics & Optimization: Analyze content performance and use data-driven insights to optimize future content for better engagement and impact.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in content writing, editing, or journalism, preferably within the B2B technology sector.
- Strong understanding of trends and best practices within the B2B tech industry.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an eye for detail, adapting tone and style for various audiences.
- Proven expertise in SEO, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and content performance analysis.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, as well as tools such as Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, or similar platforms.
- Strong project management abilities, with experience in handling multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative experience with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product departments.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing & Advertising, or a related field
