JOB PURPOSEThis position is responsible for the support of software development projects from conception through implementation, along with the maintenance and enhancement of existing systems. Special emphasis is placed on collaboration with management, project teams, and Business Analysts. The Developer must be able to participate in making decisions on how to deploy new and existing technology, provide accurate estimates of work effort, and create solutions meeting or exceeding design requirements within time and budget specifications.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform unit testing, code reviews, and troubleshoot technical issues. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to coding standards. Document programs and maintain technical description documents of supported systems. Assist other IT staff with review and possibly fixes of programs or technical components in other functional areas. Stay up to date with the latest SAP commerce Cloud trends and advancements to suggest innovative solutions. Design, develop, and implement SAP commerce cloud e-commerce solutions based on business requirements. Perform SAP Commerce Cloud 2211 monthly release updates. Design and develop programs to consume SAP ECC and 3rd party APIs such as Paymetrics, UPS, Avatax etc. Design and develop APIs in SAP Commerce resulting from new projects or process improvement task. Participate with business leads to identify process improvements or new features for Sloan Commerce. Other duties and responsibilities as required.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in In computer science or a degree in a comparable field. 5+ Years In-depth knowledge of SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris)• Experience in J2EE/JAVA programming with spring framework.• An understanding of Hybris data structures and hands-on experience in utilizing Impex scripting to load master data.• Experience in applying SAP commerce cloud 2211 updates in CCV2 environment.• Hands-on experience of the various Hybris Administrative Cockpits, OCC Web services, Integration Objects, Backoffice framework, Smartedit, Workflow, Solr, hot folder, Groovy scripts and Commerce Cloud Portal.• Experience in integrating Commerce technologies with third party platforms.• Experience with implementing and supporting a headless commerce architecture.• Maintaining a constantly updated skill set in new technologies and programming techniques.• Experience working in Confluence, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.• The ability to communicate clearly with the business customers and other team members.• The developer must possess very strong analytical abilities, written and verbal communications skills (English)• Experience in Java and General object-oriented concepts to support changes to Sloan Commerce system.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • SAP Commerce Cloud / Hybris Certification and/or full lifecycle implementationexperience on the SAP Commerce Cloud platform • Knowledge of SAP Composable storefront • Familiarity with SAP ECC Sales andDistribution or S/4HANA Sales • Experience with or a desire to learn other adjacenttechnologies.
