AdvaRisk - Quality Analyst - Manual & Automation Testing

About Job role :
As a Quality Analyst, you will be working on one of our flagship products AdvaSmart. We are scouting for a Quality Analyst enthusiast who possesses hands-on experience in Manual Testing and Automation Testing. This role requires you to take ownership of the end-to-end system and take all requirements ,issues, and enhancements to closure single-handedly. You will be responsible to develop and maintain the automation framework and scripts for regression and continuous integration. Needless to say , you will be entrusted with the responsibility of mentoring other engineers, defining our technical culture, and helping to build a fast-growing team.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Meeting with the software/product designers to determine quality assurance parameters,
- Implementing testing procedures under QA process.
- Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures.
- Conducting analysis checks on product specifications.
- Ensuring the successful deployment of the packages into the respective environments
- Executing tests on source code.
- Applying various designs and documenting the automation test strategy
- Creating an automation test plan and identifying/selecting the automation test cases
- Configuring Test automation tools,
- Hands on knowledge of Selenium Environment Setup with an Integrated Development Environment (IDE)
- Automating the design of a framework and implementing it as per the structure of the project
- Creating, enhancing, debugging, and running the test cases
- Collating and monitoring the defect management process
- Managing the changes and executing regression tests
- Mentoring and reviewing peer codes
Expectations / Technical Requirements:
- Educational qualification: BE/ B.tech/ MCA/ M.tech.
- Overall 3+ years of experience in manual and automation testing.
- The desired candidate must have hands-on experience of 3+ years in Manual Testing and 1- 2 + years of experience in Automation Testing
- Good to have developed automation framework from scratch
- Prior experience in devising optimal test strategy (including functional, non-functional, analytics and automation) and test plans for short term and long-term projects
- Analytical ability to understand and work with complex application architecture.
- Well-versed in Functional Automation - Web and API.
- Knowledge of API testing and automation with Rest Assured.
- Strong API testing and debugging skills
- Understands front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience in test automation and test framework/tools (Junit, TestNG, Selenium, etc) is a must have
- Experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, Bash, etc is a plus
- Experience in Agile methodologies.
- Keen inclination towards usability and end-user perspective of the application we build.
- Own QA Processes in scrums. Estimate and plan projects with accuracy.
- Contribution to open-source projects related to QA is a strong plus.
- Works independently under minimal direction with strong work ethics.
- Prior experience of working in a fast-paced early-stage start -up environment would be a plus
