Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Tosca Automation Engineer to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience working with Tricentis Tosca, with a strong focus on UI automation, API testing, and a good understanding of Tosca Commander (TCD), Tosca Data Services (TDS), and Tosca Execution Server (DEX).

They will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites using Tosca to ensure the quality of our Automation Development:

- Design and develop automated test cases for web applications using Tosca UI testing functionalities.

- Develop and execute automated API tests using Tosca's API testing capabilities.

- Utilize data-driven testing techniques to achieve efficient test coverage.

- Leverage Tosca scripting languages (e., Javascript) to enhance automation complexity and reusability.

Test Management and Execution:

- Manage and configure test data using Tosca Data Services (TDS) for efficient test execution.

- Utilize Tosca Commander (TCD) to create test suites, manage test assets, and schedule test execution.

- Execute automated test suites using Tosca Execution Server (DEX) and analyze test results.

- Identify and report defects discovered during automation testing.

Collaboration and Best Practices:

- Collaborate with testers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective integration of automation into the testing process.

- Document and maintain automation scripts and test data for future reference and knowledge sharing.

- Adhere to established automation best practices and contribute to continuous improvement of the Tosca testing framework.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).

- 3-5 years of experience working with Tricentis Tosca.

- Strong hands-on experience in Tosca UI testing and API testing functionalities.

- Working knowledge of Tosca Commander (TCD), Tosca Data Services (TDS), and Tosca Execution Server (DEX).

- Experience with scripting languages used in Tosca (e., Javascript) is a plus.

- Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies is a plus.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively
