Job Description :

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Manual Tester to join our quality assurance team. As a Manual Tester, you will be responsible for thoroughly testing software applications to ensure they meet quality standards and user requirements. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and report defects, verify fixes, and ensure the overall quality and reliability of our software :

  • Create and execute manual test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
  • Conduct functional, regression, and user acceptance testing of web and mobile applications.
  • Document test plans, test cases, and test results in a clear and organized manner.
  • Identify and report defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues using bug tracking tools such as Jira or Bugzilla.
  • Verify fixes for reported defects and ensure they meet the specified requirements and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and resolve defects in a timely manner.
  • Participate in requirements review meetings to ensure a clear understanding of project objectives and user expectations.
  • Provide feedback on user interface design, functionality, and usability to improve the overall user experience.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and test reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and best practices, and actively contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as a Manual Tester or Quality Assurance Engineer, with at least 1-2 years of experience in manual testing of software applications.
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience creating and executing manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively communicate test results, defects, and observations to cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or TestRail.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and contribute to a positive and supportive work culture.
