Job Summary:-

Oversee all the aspects of GST compliances, such as- GST returns filing, controlling GST related accounting, auditing, and reporting to ensure seamlessness and timely compliances and increased efficiency in GST litigations. Responsible for independently handling all GST related compliances at group level. Will be involved in developing and controlling efficient GST processes ensuring no GST and ITC leakages.

Responsibility:-

1. GST Returns filing:

a) Monthly review of all GST Returns (GSTR-1, GSTR3B) of all group entities ensuring timely and accurate filing.

b) Managing Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliations with GSTR 2B ensuring no ITC leakages.

c) Controlling GST ledgers and monthly reconciliations of GST Liability with books.

d) Managing GST Audit of all group entities ensuring no/minimum adjustments.

2. GST Litigations

a) Assist in drafting responses to letters/notices issued by the GST authorities.

b) Assist in filing appeals at CIT level.

c) Maintaining GST litigation trackers ensuring all notices are responded to.

d) Visiting GST department regularly for follow-ups on pending refunds/issues.

3. GST Assessment, Audit and Investigations

a) Assist in handling GST audits and assessments initiated by the department.

b) Collation of data required to be submitted.

c) Attending hearings at the GST department in connection with the audit and assessment.

4. Stakeholders Management

a) Managing Statutory Audits, Tax Audits for GST issues to ensure smooth closure.

b) Liaise with external consultants and advisors to seek expertise on various GST matters.

c) Support business teams by aiding on day to day activities.

d) Support on adhoc regulatory requirements by providing data, analysis, and financial numbers assistance.

5. People Development

a) Support team members in delivering their responsibilities in business as usual and resolve their concern/challenges, if any

b) Improve capabilities and processes and provide support and training to team members.

a) Qualifications

CA

Specialized professional in area of finance, forecasting and budgeting

b) Work Experience

- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Finance sector

Other Skills:

- Knowledge about Taxation laws

- Team Leadership skills

- Influencing skills

- Interpersonal skills
