Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and implement REST APIs.

- Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.

- Lead integration of GenAI-powered capabilities into backend systems, including prompt-based APIs and tool-using agents.

- Test software to ensure responsiveness, correctness and efficiency.

- Collaborate with front-end developers on the integration of elements.

- Take initiatives to build better and faster solutions to the problems of scale.

- Troubleshoot application-related issues and work with the infrastructure team to triage Major Incidents.

- Experience in analyzing/researching solutions and developing/implementing recommendations accordingly.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field

- Minimum of four years of professional experience

- Expertise in JavaScript (ES6) and Node JS is a must

- Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures

- In-depth knowledge of frameworks like Express JS and Restify

- Experience in building backend services for handling data at large scale is a must

- Ability to architect high-availability applications and servers on cloud adhering to best practices; microservices architecture is preferable

- Experience working with MySQL and NoSQL databases like DynamoDB and MongoDB

- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or equivalent GenAI agentic frameworks is a strong plus

- Experience writing complex SQL queries

- In-depth knowledge of Node JS concepts like the event loop

- Ability to perform technical deep-dives into code

- Experience building and deploying GenAI-powered backend services or tools such as prompt routers, embedding search, and RAG pipelines

- Understanding of communication using WebSockets

- Good understanding of clean architecture and SOLID principles

- Basic knowledge of AWS and Docker containerization is preferable

- Experience in Python is a plus

- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor or GitHub Copilot to accelerate development, assist in code reviews, and support efficient coding practices is a plus

- Familiarity with Git
