Job Title: Cloud Database Administrator Experience:5+ YearsJob Type:Full-Time Job Summary: We are looking for a skilledCloud Database Administrator (DBA)with 5+years strong experience inSQL ServeronAWSplatform. The role includesdatabase development, support, and administrationactivities. You will also work with other databases likePostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle , and cloud tools such asADF, DynamoDB, and Snowflake . Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and manageSQL Serveron AWS. Handlebackups, restores, HA/DR , and database upgrades. Monitor performance and tune queries, indexes, and resources. Automate DBA tasks usingPowerShell ,Azure CLI , orAWS CLI . Support application teams with SQL queries and deployments. Schedule and manageETL/data transferjobs usingAzure Data Factory (ADF)orSSIS . Implement database security, access control, and encryption. Monitor usingAzure Monitor ,Log Analytics , orAWS CloudWatch . Work onPostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Oraclefor basic admin and troubleshooting. SupportDynamoDB(table design, throughput) andSnowflake(user and data management). Troubleshoot blocking, deadlocks, and performance issues. Prepare reports, documentation, and participate in on-call support. Required Skills: Strong experience inSQL Server Administration, Performance Tuning, and T-SQL Development . Knowledge ofAzure SQL DB ,Azure Managed Instance ,AWS RDS , andEC2-based SQL . Good understanding ofbackups, replication, AlwaysOn, and DR setup . Experience withADF, SSIS, or ETL toolsfor data loading. Basic hands-on withPostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle, DynamoDB, and Snowflake . Automation skills withPowerShell / Pythonscripting. Familiar withmonitoring, alerts, and cost optimizationin cloud. Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
