The successful candidate will contribute to designing, developing, maintaining and improving software systems that deliver impact for Atica and it's customers. If you are a hands-on builder with significant experience in developing scalable systems/services, look no furtherTime: 11 AM - 8:30 PM | 5 days' Work From OfficeKey responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement software applications, ensuring an exceptional level of quality and a robust, user-friendly experience Create software applications (backend or frontend) that directly support business strategy and objectives Work closely with product owners, stakeholders, and other engineers to understand the requirements and deliver the best solutions that cater to our team's and customers' needs Participate in code reviews to maintain, enhance and optimize a high-quality codebase Be up-to-date with the current technology trends, tools, and applications - identify and drive long-term adoption of cutting-edge, impactful technologies within the Org Contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle, from initial conception to deployment and maintenance. Collaborate with the Product team to prioritize bugs and tasks, ensuring we create long-term product leverage without compromising on short-term needs Assist in the design and execution of peer code reviews, promoting a culture of quality and shared learningSkill sets we require: Proven work experience of3-5 yearsas a Software Engineer or Software Developer, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment (e.g. startups) Expert proficiency to develop scalable software in at least one of these languages - Java, Python, JS Familiarity with databases (SQL, NoSQL), data structures, and algorithms Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and team-work skills, able to coordinate with global teams High attention to detail, a strong desire to learn, and the resilience to work in a fast-paced, customer-centered environment Experience developing RESTful web applications using at least one popular web framework (Spring MVC, GWT, Django, Flask, NodeJS, etc.) Proficiency in software engineering toolsCurrent stack: Java + Springboot microservice MongoDB (hosted on Atlas) n8n - business workflows and orchestration Postgres as OLAP Additional self-managed services - appsmith, bitwarden, grafana, web-scraper Airbyte (ETL/ELT pipelines) Data warehouse - WIPPreferred (Not Required): Knowledge or experience in managing cloud-based services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
