Job Overview:

The Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in improving the company's operations by analyzing data, evaluating business processes, and identifying opportunities for improvement. The candidate will collaborate with various departments to define business problems, gather requirements, and develop data-driven insights to guide decision-making. The Business Analyst will work closely with senior management to help shape the company's growth strategy and optimize the overall efficiency of projects and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Reporting:

- Gather and analyze large sets of data related to business performance, customer behavior, and market trends.

- Interpret data to generate actionable insights that will guide business strategies and decision-making.

- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor business performance indicators (KPIs).

Business Process Improvement:

- Evaluate existing business processes and identify areas of inefficiency or potential improvement.

- Propose solutions and strategies to improve processes, reduce costs, and increase productivity.

- Lead initiatives to implement process improvements and track their effectiveness.

Market Research and Competitor Analysis:

- Conduct in-depth market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

- Prepare reports and presentations on market insights for senior management and business teams.

- Assist in identifying new business opportunities or areas for expansion.

- Requirements Gathering and Stakeholder Management:

- Collaborate with various departments to gather and document business requirements for new projects and initiatives.

- Facilitate communication between different teams (tech, product, marketing, sales) to ensure alignment of business objectives.

- Develop detailed business and functional requirement documents to guide the execution of projects.

Financial and Operational Modeling:

- Build and maintain financial and operational models to assess project feasibility, forecast revenue, and measure the financial impact of various business decisions.

- Conduct scenario analysis and risk assessments for strategic initiatives.

- Support the budgeting and forecasting process for different business units.

Project Management Support:

- Work with project managers to ensure that business requirements are clearly understood and incorporated into project plans.

- Track project progress and provide updates to key stakeholders, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality goals are met.

- Assist in the coordination and implementation of new business initiatives.

Data-Driven Decision Support:

- Support senior management in decision-making by providing data-driven insights, market trends, and competitor analysis.

- Collaborate with the product and marketing teams to develop strategies based on customer data and behavior.

- Monitor the impact of business strategies and provide recommendations for improvements.

Performance Metrics Tracking:

- Define and track key performance metrics (KPIs) for various departments, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

- Analyze variances in performance and recommend corrective actions to ensure targets are achieved.

- Develop predictive models to forecast future performance and trends.

Documentation and Reporting:

- Document all findings, insights, and recommendations in clear and structured reports.

- Present analysis and insights to senior management and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

- Maintain a repository of all business analysis and process improvement Bachelor's degree from top-tier college. A Master's degree (MBA) is a plus.

- 2-5 years of experience in business analysis, strategy, or operations roles, preferably in the edtech or technology sector.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize large amounts of data.

- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present data and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Excellent organizational and project management skills.

- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Experience in managing cross-functional projects is preferred.
