About the Role:


We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Internal Auditor with expertise in accounting, taxation, auditing, legal, and secretarial compliance. This role is integral to ensuring the financial and regulatory integrity of our RBI-governed Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC).


Key Responsibilities:


  • Accounting & Financial Audits: Conduct thorough audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
  • Taxation Compliance: Ensure adherence to applicable taxation laws and regulations.
  • Legal & Secretarial Compliance: Manage legal and company secretarial responsibilities to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Internal Audits: Plan and execute comprehensive internal audits to evaluate financial and operational efficiency.
  • Regulatory Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate reports in compliance with RBI guidelines.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
  • Documentation & Recordkeeping: Maintain meticulous records and documentation of audit findings.
  • Training & Awareness: Promote awareness of compliance and regulatory practices across the organization.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with legal, compliance, and other internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Audit Reporting: Prepare and present detailed audit reports to senior management.


Skills & Expertise:


  • Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA).
  • 2-5 years post-qualification experience in internal auditing, accounting, taxation, legal compliance, or company secretarial roles within RBI-governed NBFCs.
  • Deep understanding of RBI regulations and NBFC-specific guidelines.
  • Proficient in accounting principles, taxation laws, and legal frameworks relevant to NBFCs.
