Job Description


  • Plans, organizes, coordinates and controls projects in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by Client.
  • Has responsibility for day-to-day contact and communication with the Client and focuses on providing client satisfaction.
  • Possesses knowledge of Oil & Gas design and engineering in the offshore industry, especially FPSOs.
  • Supervises personnel assigned to the project through subordinate leaders. May also serve as the proposal manager of medium-sized projects.
  • Job role has budgetary type of accountabilities.
  • Management of internal and external project interfaces.
  • Responsible for delivery of project deliverables in accordance with the project schedule, including early identification and resolution of problems that may impact progress.
  • Support to Management of Change process on the project. including development of discreet schedules and budgets.
  • Support to identification and management of Risk on the project including development of mitigation measures to remove and or control residual risk.


Prerequisites /Requirements


  • Over 15 to 20 years' experience in Project and Engineering Management in Oil and Gas handling Offshore Projects, Floating and Fixed Platform Projects.
  • Experience in coordinating and focal point for Mechanical Equipment procurement including but not limited to bid clarification meetings, procurement status reviews, kick-off meetings, and liaison with mechanical package engineers and Client engineers.
  • Knowledge of multi discipline execution of offshore projects.
  • Knowledge of 3D CAD and other Engineering and Design Tools, including Intelligent PIDs, SPI, SPE and Navisworks.
  • Knowledge of Digital delivery of projects is preferred.
  • Experience and knowledge of procurement, topsides / module fabrication is preferred.


Qualifications and Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering (e.g., Civil, Mechanical, Naval Architecture, Ocean Engineering)
  • Proven experience in project management, particularly in Offshore.
  • Strong knowledge of offshore operations, including marine logistics, construction methods, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to offshore projects.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) is preferrable.
