Job Overview:

- The Head of Digital Marketing is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing digital marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.

- This role involves overseeing a team of digital marketing professionals, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and optimizing the performance of all digital channels, including websites, social media, email, search engine marketing (SEM), and online advertising campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development:

- Create and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with the overall business goals.

- Lead digital marketing initiatives to enhance brand positioning, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.

- Oversee budget allocation for digital marketing campaigns and ensure a high return on investment (ROI).

Team Leadership:

- Lead, mentor, and manage the digital marketing team, including specialists in SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, content creation, and analytics.

- Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Campaign Management:

- Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across all channels, including email, social media, search engines, and display advertising.

- Optimise campaigns for performance metrics such as clicks, conversions, engagement, and lead generation.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and SEM:

- Develop strategies to increase organic traffic through SEO best practices.

- Manage paid search campaigns, including Google Ads and Bing Ads, to maximize conversions while maintaining a positive ROI.

Social Media and Content Marketing:

- Oversee the creation and distribution of engaging content across all digital platforms, ensuring consistency in messaging and brand voice.

- Manage the company's social media presence, optimizing it for audience engagement and growth.

Data Analytics & Performance Monitoring:

- Use web analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) to track, measure, and analyze the effectiveness of all digital marketing activities.

- Generate reports to share insights with senior management and adjust strategies as needed.

Customer Experience and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):

- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to improve the customer journey on digital platforms.

- Use A/B testing and other methods to enhance website and campaign performance, increasing conversion rates.

Partnerships and Vendor Management:

- Manage relationships with external digital marketing agencies, technology providers, and other partners.

- Evaluate new digital marketing tools, platforms, and technologies that could benefit the organization.

Compliance and Best Practices:

- Ensure compliance with relevant legal guidelines, including data protection regulations (e.g, GDPR).

- Stay updated on the latest trends in digital marketing and implement best practices across the department.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

- Proven track record of managing and scaling successful digital marketing campaigns.

- Expertise in SEO, SEM, PPC, social media, content marketing, and analytics.

- Proficient with digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and CRM systems.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

- Excellent communication and project management skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in B2B or D2C digital marketing.

- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g, HubSpot, Marketo).

- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms or experience in online sales strategies.
