Key Responsibilities :

Design and Implementation :

- Develop and implement telecommunications infrastructure strategies in alignment with company objectives and industry standards.

- Ensure that all telecom systems are compliant with regulatory requirements and safety standards.

Project Management :

- Manage telecom projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and operations, to ensure seamless integration of telecom systems.

- Prepare project documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.

Technical Support and Maintenance :

- Provide technical support for telecom systems, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions.

- Conduct regular maintenance and upgrades to ensure optimal performance of telecom infrastructure.

- Train staff on the use and maintenance of telecom systems.

Vendor Management :

- Liaise with vendors and service providers to procure telecom equipment and services.

- Evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate contracts, and oversee the quality of delivered products and services.

Safety and Compliance :

- Ensure all telecom activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

- Participate in safety audits and risk assessments related to telecom systems.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in telecommunications within the oil and gas industry.

- Proven expertise in PAGA, CCTV, and Access Control systems.

- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, fiber optics, and wireless communications.

- Excellent project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Cisco, CompTIA, etc.) are a plus.

Skills and Competencies :

-In-depth understanding of telecom systems and their application in the oil and gas sector.

- Proficiency in telecom hardware and software.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Working Conditions :

- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

- Availability for on-call support as needed.
