About the Role :We are seeking a visionary AI & Data Principal Engineer to lead the architecture, development, and deployment of advanced AI and data-driven solutions. This role is pivotal in driving innovation across machine learning, data engineering, and AI infrastructure, while mentoring teams and shaping strategic technical direction aligned with business goals.Key Responsibilities :- Lead the design and implementation of scalable AI and data architectures, ensuring integration with enterprise systems.- Define and drive the technical roadmap for AI, machine learning, and data engineering initiatives.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, product managers, and business leaders to align AI capabilities with organizational objectives.- Mentor and guide senior engineers and architects, fostering technical excellence and innovation.- Architect, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning models, natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, or other AI applications.- Oversee the entire ML lifecycle including data preprocessing, model training, evaluation, tuning, and deployment.- Drive adoption of MLOps best practices to ensure scalable, reproducible, and automated model deployment and monitoring.- Design and oversee the development of robust, efficient data pipelines and data infrastructure to support AI and analytics workloads.- Ensure high-quality, well-governed, and secure data assets are available for AI applications.- Promote data-driven decision-making by delivering reliable and insightful analytics solutions.- Stay abreast of the latest AI, ML, and data technologies, evaluating their applicability to business challenges.- Lead pilot projects and proof of concepts (POCs) to validate new AI technologies and approaches.- Drive continuous improvement by implementing best practices in software engineering, data management, and AI model development.- Ensure AI and data solutions comply with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.- Establish standards for data privacy, security, and responsible AI use.Required Qualifications & Skills :- Bachelor's or Master's degree (PhD preferred) in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related fields.- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or AI development, with significant time spent in senior or principal engineering roles.- Deep expertise in AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or equivalent.- Extensive experience in data engineering technologies: data lakes, data warehouses, ETL pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.- Proven experience designing and deploying machine learning models in production at scale.- Solid understanding of MLOps, model monitoring, and lifecycle management.- Expertise in big data ecosystems like Spark, Hadoop, Kafka is highly desirable.- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex AI concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
