Credit Agricole CIB Services Private. Ltd. (CASPL), a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 having it Registered office at 11th Floor, Hoechst House, Nariman Point, Mumbai, 400021. CASPL is a captive service provider of business process outsourcing solutions to CA-CIB group. CASPL renders services through four major platforms:

EBONI- Extended Back Office Network International Platform responsible for Financing & Trade Operations (FTO) for trade finance products like Letter of Credit. Guarantees, Collection, Loan & margin deposits, etc.

GELOP- Global EBONI Loan Operations Platform responsible for processing of Syndicated Offshore loans.

IFIN- International Finance Platform responsible for financial control, Nostro reconciliation, review of reports, etc.

CMO- Capital Market Operations Platform responsible for Middle Office, Back Office Operations function.


CMO process the transaction activities for foreign exchange & Money market for multiple geographies (Middle East, EMEA, New York and Canada). There are 2 teams under CMO platform in CASPL in charge of:

· Capital Market Back Office (CMB):

a. Ensuring in liaison with Business Lines and Middle Office teams a smooth transaction integration

within the Back Office systems

b. Liaising with external clients for Confirmation and Settlements and solve any query.

c. Ensuring cut offs are met for payments.

d. Meeting our regulatory requirement sin terms of timely confirmation.

e. Client static data and Settlement Instruction creation

f. Coordination of the New Activity and Product (NAP) files for CMO launched by the Business Lines

g. KPI’s production and operational risk mitigation implementation

· Capital Market Middle Office (CMM):

a. Fees & brokerage Reconciliation.

b. Provision Analysis

c. Break Investigation

The Back Offices (CMB) provides operational services to multiple CA-CIB sites including Dubai, DIFC, Europe, New York and Canada for all Capital Markets transaction including FX, MM, Derivatives, Structured trades and Fixed Income activities.


Responsibilities

Responsible for the confirmation processing of capital markets transactions including FX, MM, Derivatives, FXNDF, FX Options covering Dubai, DIFC, London, Paris, New York & Canada.

· Confirm with CA-CIB customers for the payment flows to be exchanged as part of the Treasury and Derivatives activities.

· Monitor payments and ensure their proper execution within the strict set deadlines.

· Ensure that daily transactions are processed timely and settled smoothly and efficiently.

· To provide operational support for the Front Office’s during active time zones in a professional and effective manner

· Recommend on enhancements to ensure the effectiveness in transaction processing and settlement.

· Keep abreast of special events and special trades

· Ensure deal booking, payments and confirmations are in compliance with local regulations and the internal policy.

· Perform 2nd level of checking / validation

· Communicate with clients or counterparts regarding confirmations, matching, and settlement issues.

· Monitor and follow-up on breaks and discrepancies appeared in system platforms

· Conduct study, investigation or other ad-hoc assignments as directed by the team head

· Proactive and responsive to discrepancy or disagreement issues and active participation in driving towards best possible resolution

· Provide management with information on unusual booking and settlement matters

· Handle new products and update/establish the procedures

· Engages in direct customer contact to ensure quality and timely services in transactions processing and inquiries are provided

· Handle daily reporting for internal control

· Provide support on India holidays when other financial markets are open where we have business activities.

· Handle daily reporting for internal control

· Assist Head of Back Office / Line manager to carry out common projects / global initiatives

· Assist in system enhancement and responsible for UAT testing
