Finastra's Global Data Office is responsible for the strategy, governance, and enablement of data assets across 130+ countries globally to unlock innovation for our business units and 8000+ customers, including 90% of the world's top banks. Reporting to the Global Head of Data Governance, this position will play a key role on the Enterprise Data Governance team, supporting the implementation and ongoing development of data governance initiatives across Finastra. It involves both business and technical responsibilities, with an emphasis on assisting in the development, configuration, and maintenance of Finastra's enterprise data governance systems. The purpose is to maintain the security, accessibility, quality, usability, and integrity of critical data assets. The successful candidate will support the Global Data Office in advancing Finastra's data governance strategies and solutions aimed at enhancing the technical infrastructure that underpins our governance framework. This team will help drive a global transformation Finastra's data governance program, which will not only meet and exceed security, regulatory and compliance requirements, but also accelerate innovation in the development of data, analytic and AI products, unlocking new opportunities for monetization. Responsibilities & Deliverables Administer andmaintainMicrosoft Purview environments, ensuring proper configuration, performance, and availability.Support the onboarding of data sources into Purview, including scanning, classification, and metadata curation.Collaborate with data governance, security, and compliance teams to implement policies and access controls within Purview.Monitor and troubleshoot Purview services, resolving issues related to data discovery, lineage, and cataloging.Assistin the development and maintenance of business glossaries, data domains, and classification rules.Provide user support and training for business and technical stakeholders on Purview features and best practices.Work with Microsoft support and internal IT teams to manage updates, enhancements, and issue resolution.Contribute to the continuous improvement of data governance processes through automation and integration with other M365 tools.Required Skills & Experience 3-5 years of experience in data governance, data cataloging, or metadata management, with hands-on experience in Microsoft Purview.5+ years ofexperience,preferablyinbanking, fintech or other highly regulated industries.Strong understanding of data governance principles, includingmetadata, data catalog, business glossary,data classification, lineage, stewardship, and policy enforcement.Experience integrating Purview with Azure services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake)a plus.Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, BCBS 239) and their implications for data governance.Proficiencyin Azure administration and security concepts, including role-based access control (RBAC).Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field(Master'sdegree is a plus).Strong understanding of data governance principles, metadata management, data quality, and data management frameworks.Proven ability to support strategic implementation, manage change, and deliver results under tight deadlines.Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, including product, legal, privacy, risk, and security teams.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.Professional certifications in data governance (e.g., CDMP, ADGP, IGP) areadvantageous.Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentala plus.Timings:11-8PM or 12-9PMWe are proud to offer a range of incentives to our employees worldwide.
