About the Job : Your Role : This is an SAP Basis Administration role that requires working on a 24/7 rotational shift, including night (third) shifts. The position involves performing SAP Basis administrative tasks and managing both Oracle and HANA databases to ensure system stability and performance.Key Responsibilities :- Perform daily monitoring of SAP systems to ensure optimal system performance and availability.- Carry out housekeeping activities to maintain overall system health.- Execute kernel upgrades and system restarts as required.- Implement Support Package (SP) upgrades and system patches.- Perform system refresh procedures, including backup, restore, and recovery operations.- Manage Oracle or SAP HANA database administration tasks.- Conduct event monitoring and system monitoring using SAP tools and dashboards.- Handle incident management processes to resolve issues efficiently.- Participate in change management activities, ensuring proper coordination and documentation.- Collaborate with customers and internal teams on planned maintenance or system changes.Your Profile :We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Administrator who is comfortable working in a 24x7 shift environment, including night shifts, and has strong technical expertise in SAP administration, database management, and system monitoring.Required Qualifications :- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including third (night) shifts, as part of 24/7 operations.- Proven experience in SAP Basis administration.- Hands-on experience with Oracle and/or SAP HANA databases.- Strong understanding of system monitoring and housekeeping procedures.- Experience performing kernel upgrades, system restarts, and Support Package (SP) upgrades.- Proficiency in system refresh, restore, and recovery activities.- Experience in event monitoring and proactive system health checks.- Knowledge of incident and change management processes.- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and customers.Preferred Experience :- 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in SAP Basis administration.- Experience supporting SAP systems in a 24/7 production environment.- Exposure to Linux/Unix operating systems.- Experience with SAP Solution Manager or similar monitoring tools.- Knowledge of HANA database administration or Oracle performance tuning.
