Description :- Experienced SAP Security Consultant with strong expertise in AMS (Application Management Support) to manage, monitor, and enhance SAP user access, authorization management, and compliance processes across SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Fiori, GRC, and others).- The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day support operations, ensuring secure and compliant access for end-users, resolving authorization issues, handling audit requirements, and maintaining security consistency across all SAP landscapes.- This role demands a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with functional, audit, and technical teams.- Perform user administration activities including user creation, modification, locking/unlocking, and password resets.- Design, develop, and maintain SAP roles and authorization profiles for various business processes.- Manage user provisioning and de-provisioning as per organizational policies.- Conduct periodic role reviews, clean-ups, and segregation of duties (SoD) analysis to ensure compliance.- Troubleshoot authorization issues by analyzing SU53, ST01, and other security logs.- Implement structural authorizations in HR systems (if applicable).- Support cross-system role synchronization between SAP systems (ECC, BW, CRM, SRM, Fiori, etc.).- Provide AMS support for SAP Security incidents, service requests, and change requests.- Work on tickets raised by business users to resolve access issues within defined SLAs.- Analyze recurring security incidents and contribute to root cause analysis and permanent fixes.- Manage role transports and maintain change records according to ITSM and audit guidelines.- Coordinate with Basis, Functional, and GRC teams to ensure smooth and compliant operations.- Maintain accurate documentation of security configurations, requests, and system changes.- Participate in system health checks, upgrades, patching, and role testing during maintenance activities.- Conduct regular user access reviews, SoD (Segregation of Duties) analysis, and risk remediation.- Support internal and external audits by providing access logs, system reports, and role documentation.- Support implementation, rollout, and upgrade projects from a security standpoint.- Participate in system upgrade testing, role redesign, and authorization migration activities.- Work on S/4HANA migration or cloud transition projects, ensuring smooth access setup.
