The AVP / Senior Manager will oversee and manage the end-to-end operations of Unifi's Portfolio Management Services (PMS) and Alternative Investment Funds (AIF) verticals. The role demands leadership, process discipline, and a deep understanding of financial operations, compliance, and reporting standards applicable to SEBI-regulated entities.Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage the complete PMS and AIF operations of the firm.- Oversee the accounting, record maintenance, and financial reconciliation of PMS clients and AIF investors.- Manage annual audits of client accounts and internal audits of PMS & AIF operations.- Independently handle regulatory inspections and ensure compliance with SEBI and related authorities.- Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax filings, client statements, monthly SoAs, and investor reports.- Reconcile client bank and demat accounts (BRS and DP reconciliations) within stipulated timelines.- Ensure accurate and prompt SEBI reporting for both PMS and AIF activities.- Collaborate with the Head of Operations and the Projects Team to streamline processes and strengthen internal controls.- Liaise with external stakeholders, including custodians, trustees, auditors, tax advisors, and legal consultants.- Coordinate with software vendors to resolve operational or technical issues promptly.- Support compliance reporting, MIS preparation, and other operational deliverables.- Address client and investor queries efficiently and Minimum 5 years of experience in PMS / Mutual Fund operations in a mid to senior management capacity.- Familiarity with Wealth Spectrum or equivalent back-office software is preferred. Skills & Competencies:- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership capabilities.- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.- Ability to multitask and work effectively across internal teams and external partners.
