Job Description :

1. Technical Architecture Design and Oversight :

- Design and establish the overarching technical architecture for gamification projects.

- Ensure that the architecture is effectively implemented by third-party game development teams.

- Regularly assess and adjust the architecture to align with project goals and technological advancements.

2. Technical Guidance and Code Quality Assurance :

- Guide third-party game development teams on optimal game logics.

- Perform rigorous code reviews to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to the established architecture.

3. Quality Assurance Strategy and Supervision :

- Develop a robust QA strategy for the diverse scope of gamification projects.

- Direct and oversee the execution of QA processes to maintain high standards.

4. Complex Logic Development and Task Management :

- Personally develop complex game logics when necessary.

- Delegate and manage technical tasks within the game development team.

5. Vendor Collaboration and Project Management :

- Act as the primary point of contact for third-party vendors, ensuring transparency and adherence to project estimates and timelines.

- Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with external development teams.

6. AI/ML and Adaptive Learning Integration :

- Coordinate closely with the AI/ML Technical Architect to integrate gaming platforms with an adaptive learning engine on AWS.

- Facilitate seamless data and content integration between gaming and AI/ML systems.

7. Innovation and Technology Leadership :

- Stay updated with the latest trends in game development, AI/ML, and gamification.

- Drive innovation and strategic technological advancements within the team.

Qualifications and Skills :

1. Educational Background :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.

2. Professional Experience :

- Minimum 10 years of experience in game development, with extensive work on Unity and Unreal Engine.

- Prior role in technical leadership, specifically in overseeing and guiding game development projects.

3. Technical Expertise :

- Deep knowledge of game development tools and languages, particularly Unity and Unreal Engine.

- Proven ability to design and oversee the implementation of complex technical architectures.

4. AI/ML and Cloud Technologies :

- Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and their integration into gaming platforms.

- Experience with cloud-based technologies, preferably AWS, for adaptive learning systems.

5. Project and Vendor Management :

- Strong project management skills with an emphasis on Agile methodologies.

- Experience in managing and negotiating with third-party vendors.

6. Communication and Leadership Skills :

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective team and vendor interactions.

- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop technical teams.

7. Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities :

- Strong analytical skills with a focus on foreseeing and solving complex technical challenges.

Additional Desirable Skills :

- Experience with VR/AR development.

- Cross-platform development capabilities.
