Job Summary:The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead the financial strategy, planning, and management of the real estate development business. The role involves ensuring financial stability, driving profitability, managing funding, and ensuring compliance across multiple projects. The CFO will act as a strategic partner to the leadership team, providing insights for business growth, risk mitigation, and capital optimization.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Financial Leadership:- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.- Lead long-term financial planning, business forecasting, and investment analysis.- Support the Board and MD in strategic decisions related to expansion, land acquisition, and new projects.Financial Operations & Control:- Oversee all aspects of finance, accounts, budgeting, and MIS reporting across the organization.- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements as per accounting standards.- Monitor fund flow, project cash flows, and working capital management.- Strengthen internal financial controls, accounting policies, and governance processes.Fundraising & Investor Relations:- Manage relationships with banks, NBFCs, investors, and financial institutions.- Oversee debt and equity fundraising, project finance, and capital structuring.- Drive negotiations and ensure optimal terms for funding and investments.Compliance & Risk Management:- Ensure statutory compliance under Income Tax, GST, Companies Act, RERA, and other applicable laws.- Coordinate with auditors, legal advisors, and regulatory authorities.- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks.Team Leadership:- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance and accounts team.- Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and excellence.Key Skills & Competencies:- Strong financial acumen and strategic thinking.- Expertise in real estate finance, project accounting, and funding mechanisms.- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.- Deep understanding of Indian tax laws, RERA, and financial regulations.- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Tally ERP, Oracle, etc.) and advanced Excel skills.
