Job Description :

- We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in OpenDaylight and MD-SAL architecture to join our team.

- The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in MD-SAL, OpenDaylight framework, and related technologies such as AKKA.

- Additionally, proficiency in Java-Scala framework with a focus on Functional programming, multithreading, and AKKA configuration handling is essential for this role.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain software solutions utilizing MD-SAL architecture within the OpenDaylight framework.

- Manage MD-SAL Data Transactions and ensure data integrity and consistency.

- Develop and maintain Karaf bundles for modular and scalable application development.

- Architect and manage Shards for distributed data storage and processing.

- Facilitate entity ownership transitioning within the MD-SAL architecture.

- Implement AKKA framework for clustering, persistence, and messaging.

- Handle AKKA dispatcher threads and Actors using ASK, Tell protocol.

- Configure AKKA clustering with Sharding and Seed node configuration.

- Utilize AKKA persistence for durable actor state management.

- Apply programming knowledge in JAVA-Scala framework with a focus on Functional programming.

- Manage multi-threading and AKKA configuration handling for optimal performance and scalability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate MD-SAL solutions with other components and systems.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 8-15 years of experience in software development, with a focus on MD-SAL architecture and OpenDaylight framework.

- Expertise in MD-SAL Data Transaction management and Karaf bundles development.

- Proficiency in Shards architecture and management.

- Experience with AKKA framework, including clustering, persistence, and messaging.

- Strong programming skills in JAVA-Scala framework with a focus on Functional programming.

- Knowledge of multi-threading and AKKA configuration handling.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
