We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Manager People Analytics & Payroll to oversee end-to-end payroll, HR data reporting, and support compensation & benefits processes.

This role sits at the intersection of operations, compliance, analytics, and total rewards, is critical to enable data-driven people decisions.

While day-to-day execution is supported by a team member, this role will lead the function, bring in automation, design scalable processes, and ensure compliance with zero error mindset.

What will you get to do here?.

Payroll Management

- Lead the end-to-end payroll framework for the organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.

- Oversee and optimize payroll operations; guide and review all inputs and processes.

- Drive automation and process reengineering to reduce manual interventions and increase accuracy.

- Design and implement controls for payroll compliance, including audits, reconciliations, and governance practices.

- Set up clear SLAs, escalation mechanisms, and documentation protocols.

People Analytics & HR Reporting

- Build and manage regular dashboards and analytics for leadership - including headcount, attrition, payroll cost, diversity metrics, etc.

- Drive data-driven insights for decision-making around manpower planning, talent health, and budgeting.

Compensation & Benefits Support

- Assist in annual compensation review cycles (budgeting, benchmarking, increment cycles).

- Support the implementation and governance of incentive, variable pay, or benefits programs.

- Own the employee insurance lifecycle - vendor management, renewals, claims experience, communications, and enhancements.

Process Design & Compliance

- Continuously enhance people operations processes with a focus on efficiency, user experience, and compliance.

- Support internal and statutory audits, including data accuracy, compliance documentation, and SOP adherence.

- Ensure HR systems/tools are leveraged effectively with clean data structures and strong reporting logic.

What are we looking for?.

- 8-12 years of experience in HR operations, payroll, C&B, or analytics.

- Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, HR, or related field.

- Payroll certifications are a plus.

- Proven ability to lead and structure payroll processes and drive automation.

- Strong understanding of statutory laws (PF, PT, ESIC, TDS), and insurance-related benefits.

- Analytical mindset with excellent command of Excel, HR dashboards, and reporting tools (Power BI/Tableau is a plus).

- High attention to detail, process orientation, and governance mindset.

- Experience with payroll systems like Darwinbox, Workday, SAP, or ADP.
