Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC procedures aligned with company and ISO standards. Inspect raw materials, components, and finished furniture to ensure compliance with quality requirements. Conduct in-process quality checks for machining, fabrication, upholstery, assembly, and final finish. Perform root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for any non-conformances. Ensure proper documentation of inspection reports, test results, and deviation records. Collaborate with production, design, and procurement teams to resolve quality issues promptly. Evaluate and audit vendors and incoming materials to maintain consistent quality levels. Monitor and verify furniture finishing, fitting, ergonomics, and durability standards. Conduct periodic training sessions for production staff on quality systems and best practices. Support internal and external quality audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Required Skills & Competencies:Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and inspection techniques in furniture or manufacturing industries. Hands-on experience with measuring instruments and gauges. Familiarity with ISO 9001, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and process audits. Excellent understanding of wood, metal, and upholstery material quality parameters. Proficiency in reporting, documentation, and MS Office tools. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Qualifications:Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
