About the Role :
We are seeking a passionate and highly skilled Analytics Engineer to join our dynamic data team. This role serves as a critical bridge between raw data and actionable insights, enabling business and product stakeholders to make data-informed decisions.
As an Analytics Engineer, you will own the design and development of scalable, performant, and reliable data models and pipelines using modern data tools and technologies. If you're someone who thrives at the intersection of data engineering and analytics, and you enjoy solving complex data challenges, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate Cross-functionally : Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and engineering teams to gather data requirements, define key metrics, and identify reporting challenges.
- Data Modeling & Transformation : Design, develop, and maintain clean, scalable, and well-documented data models and marts using DBT (Data Build Tool) and other modern data stack components.
- Write High-Performance Code : Develop efficient and modular SQL and Python scripts to transform raw datasets into structured, analytics-ready data layers.
- Build Dashboards & Reports : Create and manage insightful and interactive dashboards using Tableau or similar visualization tools to support data-driven Ensure Data Quality & Governance : Partner with data engineers and architects to build resilient and governed data pipelines that ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability.
- Define Source of Truth : Establish and maintain source-of-truth metrics in the analytics layer and document them effectively for consumption by analysts and business users.
- Product Instrumentation Support : Collaborate with product engineering teams to understand new features, define event tracking requirements, and validate instrumentation accuracy.
- Drive Business Impact : Deliver meaningful insights by either building dashboards or collaborating with BI teams to provide timely and accurate reporting.
- Contribute to Best Practices : Help grow the analytics engineering discipline by contributing to reusable frameworks, internal tooling, and team-wide best You Are :
Experience : 23 years of hands-on experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a similar role with a focus on building scalable data Expertise :
- Proficiency in DBT, SQL, and Python is essential.
- Experience with modern cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Amazon Redshift.
- Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow is a plus.
- Data Modeling Knowledge : Solid understanding of dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas, and principles of data normalization and Visualization Tools : Experience creating dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent tools.
- Strong Communicator : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-Starter : Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive business outcomes through data Exposure :
- Working with event-driven data or product instrumentation tools like Segment, Amplitude, or Mixpanel.
