Role & responsibilities

Primary Responsibility: Academic Operations

  • • Constantly collaborating with the principal to make sure everything runs smoothly at the school.
  • • Assisting staff-parent committees that work to enhance the school's social and academic environments for the pupils.
  • • Delivering lessons, building relationships with the pupils, managing disciplinary matters, and covering for the principal when needed.
  • • Helping with annual teacher evaluations, supporting staff and student mentoring, and fostering a healthy school environment.
  • • Overseeing student assemblies and other unique get-togethers for annual events.
  • • Creating emergency action plans for schools in accordance with federal and state education agencies' requirements. reporting issues and making necessary updates.
  • • Maintaining records as needed by the use of different logs, tracking documents, computer programs, intranet or internet software, and other applications.
  • • Serving as the school's academic head; supporting coordinators and instructors with regard to curriculum, modules, and other related topics; etc.
  • • Keeping an eye on how the developed material, approach, or methodology is being used in the classroom by routinely going through student notebooks, diaries, logbooks, etc.
  • Overseeing the supervision and general discipline of the school; monitoring sports and performing activities on a regular basis; planning and carrying out improvement-oriented actions; and giving prompt feedback to the coordinators regarding areas for improvement.
  • • Keeping an eye on the coordinators' registrations; planning yearly events, outside competitions, and outside exams.
  • • Communicating with guardians and parents as necessary; • Working with the administrative staff to plan programs, activities, etc.
  • Management of Human Resources
  • • Resolving disputes between parents, instructors, and students, or between groups of people.
  • • Lead and inspire educators to give their all in accordance with the educational philosophy of the school.
  • • Make sure that HR policies are adhered to as much as possible.
  • • Collaborate productively with the Human Resources team to hire qualified candidates within the allotted time.
  • • Reduce attrition by helping to create a positive work environment for school employees.
  • • Ensure that regular induction programs are completed by both teaching and non-teaching staff.
  • Operations for Administration: Oversee and plan the administrative tasks.
  • • Take the lead in the student admissions process and be in charge of all paperwork related to school admissions.
  • • New project planning in consultation with management.
  • • Work together with CO's various departments to ensure that school operations run smoothly.
  • • Provide advice and solutions for complying with different agencies.
  • • Immediately report any evidence of child abuse, child neglect, serious medical or social problems, etc. to the Board, the relevant staff, and agencies.
  • • Any other tasks that the managing committee specifies
  • • Create and maintain procedures that result in facilities that are aesthetically pleasing, well-organized, functional, safe, clean, and well-maintained, paying careful attention to the visual and acoustic.
  • • Preserving efficient lines of communication with parents, staff, and students.
  • · Lead the Relationship Cell team in addressing parent concerns and inquiries in an efficient manner.


Preferred candidate profile

  • Education - (B.Ed - Education) AND (PG - Any PG Course - Any Specialization, M. Ed - Education)


  • Experience - 8 - 10 years of work experience in academics (worked as TGT/PGT) with minimum 1-2 years of work experience as a Vice - Principal in a reputed educational institution. Have worked as Secondary coordinator/Senior Secondary coordinator.
  • Have handled Borad classes as teacher and as Vice-Principal (Preference CBSE Board)
