What will you be doing at Atrium?

The Director of IT is responsible for the overall management and direction of the IT department. This includes overseeing the development and implementation of IT strategies, policies, and procedures; managing the IT budget; and providing technical support to the organization’s employees. The Director of IT must have a strong understanding of IT principles and practices, as well as the ability to lead and motivate a team of IT professionals.

The Director of IT will:

• Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the organization’s overall goals and objectives
• Work with leadership on developing risk management programs, including monitoring and enforcement of policies, business continuity and disaster recovery planning, and developing auditing capabilities covering key risk areas
• Manage the IT budget and ensure that IT resources are used effectively and efficiently
• Provide technical support to the organization’s employees
• Oversee the development and implementation of IT security policies and procedures
• Manage the IT infrastructure, including cloud-based systems
• Procure, track, and manage assets such as laptops and servers across all locations
• Work with business stakeholders to identify and procure tools and software solutions required to support the organization’s goals and growth
• Monitor IT performance and identify areas for improvement
• Stay up-to-date on the latest IT trends and technologies
• Represent the IT department to senior management and other stakeholders
• Willingness to “roll up sleeves” and help get things done in addition to managing strategy and direction.

In this role, you will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in IT management
• Strong understanding of IT principles and practices
• Experience managing Google Workspace and Salesforce.com environments
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of IT professionals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
