PTC Windchill Developer Office timings: 2:00 PM—11:00 PM 100% remote roleOverviewOn Behalf of our client we are seeking an experienced PTC Windchill Developer to design, implement, and maintain configurations, customizations and enhancements for our enterprise cloud PLM (Windchill+) systems. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive development expertise in PTC Windchill environments, with the technical capability to perform quality assurance testing as part of the development lifecycle. This role is critical to supporting our digital transformation initiatives and ensuring optimal PLM system performance across our plants.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelopmentConfigure, design, develop, and implement OOTB and custom solutions and extensions for PTCWindchill+ and ThingWorx NavigateCreate and enhance workflows, life cycles, and business rules to meet specific organizational requirementsDevelop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to facilitate data-driven decision makingImplement user interface improvements to enhance user experience and productivityOptimize queries and system performance through code refinementDevelop data migration scripts and utilities to support roll out to plantsBuild and maintain integrations between Windchill and other enterprise systems (ERP, CAD, MES, etc.)Quality AssuranceDesign and execute comprehensive test plans for all developed solutions before deploymentValidate that all configurations and customizations developed by vendors meet performance, security, and scalability requirementsPerform unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and regression testing of code and configurationsTest system behavior under various load conditions to ensure production readinessVerify system compatibility across browsers, devices, and operating environmentsTechnical LeadershipDocument technical specifications, development approaches, and system configurationsEstablish and enforce coding standards and best practicesConduct code reviews to ensure quality and maintainabilityCreate knowledge base articles and technical documentation for support teamsCollaborate with business analysts to refine requirements and propose optimal technical solutionsContinuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities for system optimization and performance enhancementLeverage new PTC features and capabilities to deliver additional business valueMonitor system health and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunitiesRequired Skills & Qualifications4+ years of hands-on development experience with PTC WindchillplatformExperience with ThingWorx Navigate development and customizationDemonstrated experience in quality assurance methodologies and testing frameworksProficiency in version control systems (Git, CCD) and continuous integration practicesKnowledge of CAD systems (AutoCAD preferred) and their integration with WindchillExperience with ESI, web services, REST APIs, and system integration techniquesAbility to work effectively with 4-hour overlap with US time zone (until 2PM ET)
