Job Summary:


As the Lead AI Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our AI initiatives, leveraging your expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), Machine Learning Operations (MLOps), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Transformers. Your primary focus will be on designing, developing, and deploying AI models and systems that enhance our travel-related services. A background in the travel domain is highly preferred, as it will enable you to understand and address the unique challenges and opportunities in this industry.


Key Responsibilities:


Lead the design, development, and implementation of AI models and systems to improve travel experiences.

Utilize LLMs, Transformers, and other state-of-the-art techniques to develop advanced natural language processing (NLP) solutions.

Implement and manage MLOps pipelines to ensure efficient model deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.

Develop RAG-based solutions to enhance information retrieval and generate contextually relevant responses.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and product managers, to align AI initiatives with business goals.

Analyze and interpret complex data to extract valuable insights and drive data-informed decision-making.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and the travel industry to continuously innovate and improve our solutions.

Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.


Qualifications:


Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.

Proven experience (5+ years) in AI/ML, with a focus on LLMs, Transformers, MLOps, and RAG.

Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Demonstrated experience in the travel domain, with a deep understanding of its specific challenges and opportunities.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.

Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.

Preferred Skills:


Experience with NLP techniques and tools such as spaCy, NLTK, or Hugging Face.

Knowledge of graph databases and experience with knowledge graphs.

Familiarity with data engineering and ETL processes.

Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.
