About the Role:
We're looking for a dynamic PR Lead to head all public relations efforts for Schbang. This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes storytelling, media relations, and reputation building. You'll drive Schbang's positioning across earned media, thought leadership platforms, and strategic communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with top journalists, editors, and media houses across print, digital, and broadcast
- Press & Coverage: Lead the creation and dissemination of press releases, media kits, and PR campaigns for Schbang's initiatives, talent, and leadership
- Thought Leadership: Strategize and secure speaking opportunities, authored articles, interviews, and panels for key spokespeople
- Crisis Communication: Handle communication strategy during sensitive or high-risk situations to protect brand reputation
- Internal Comms: Partner with HR and leadership on internal PR moments, culture campaigns, and employee engagement narratives
- PR for Talent & Campaigns: Support media amplification of high-impact campaigns, influencer IPs, talent announcements, and client wins
- Monitoring & Reporting: Track media coverage, industry sentiment, and share timely reports and insights with internal teams
- Collaboration: Work closely with creative, marketing, and leadership teams to align PR with business and branding goals
What We're Looking For:
- Strong media network and proven experience securing quality press coverage
- Excellent communication skills (written + verbal) and a sharp editorial eye
- Creative thinker with a strategic, solution-oriented approach
- Prior experience in handling PR for brands in advertising, digital, or creator economy is a plus
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and lead PR independently
