About the Role :


We are seeking a skilled Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Consultant for one of our esteemed clients. This is a remote, contract-based role focused on implementing, managing, and supporting OIC solutions across Oracle Fusion SaaS applications and third-party systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with integration tools, APIs, and Oracle Cloud modules (HCM, Finance, SCM).

Key Responsibilities :


- Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).

- Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather integration requirements and convert them into technical specifications.

- Implement integrations between Oracle Fusion Cloud (HCM, SCM, Finance) and external/on-premise systems.

- Create and maintain REST/SOAP-based APIs and file-based integrations using FTP/SFTP.

- Manage OIC components including connections, lookup tables, adapters, orchestration flows, and error handling.

- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and participate in UAT with business stakeholders.

- Maintain technical documentation and version control of all integration assets.

- Troubleshoot and resolve OIC integration issues and performance bottlenecks.

- Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices in integration architecture and design.

Required Skillsets :


- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Integration Cloud (Application Integration, Process Automation, Visual Builder).

- Experience with Oracle Fusion SaaS modules : HCM, SCM, and Finance.

- Proficiency in REST/SOAP APIs, XML, XSLT, JSON, and Web Services.

- Experience working with various adapters : ERP, HCM, REST, SOAP, FTP/SFTP.

- Understanding of authentication protocols like OAuth, Basic Auth, and API security.

- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and deployment models.

- Strong debugging and analytical skills for resolving integration issues.

- Good understanding of middleware best practices, performance tuning, and error handling mechanisms.

Preferred Qualifications :


- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Oracle OIC certification (preferred but not mandatory).

- Exposure to Agile project management and DevOps tools.
