Job Overview

We're looking for a versatile, experienced web developer to join our digital technology team. This is a full-stack role with a focus on WordPress, frontend development, and hands-on server-side deployment. The right candidate will be comfortable building everything from custom plugins to frontend components and deploying them directly to staging or live environments.

You'll work closely with designers, marketers, and project managers to deliver fast, SEO-friendly websites and interactive applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain custom WordPress sites, themes, and plugins.
  • Build frontend components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React/Vue.
  • Create or consume REST APIs using PHP or Node.js.
  • Comfortable with managing servers and deploying code.
  • Optimize websites for performance, SEO, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in live environments.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth execution of digital marketing initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in WordPress development: themes, plugins, ACF, WP Query.
  • Strong frontend skills: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (vanilla + basic frameworks).
  • Backend experience in PHP (WordPress) and Node.js.
  • Experience working directly with servers: cPanel, SSH, file permissions, error logs.
  • Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and integrating third-party services.
  • Familiarity with performance optimization and SEO-friendly development.
  • Ability to debug and resolve issues in live environments.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with React, Vue, or similar frameworks.
  • Exposure to headless WordPress setups or decoupled frontends.
  • Knowledge of cron jobs, basic Linux commands, or hosting control panels.
  • Understanding of marketing automation tools or analytics integrations.
