Job Title:Industry Solutions Leader – Retail Location:Noida/Kolkata /Bangalore Employment Type:Full-Time Experience:10+ Years Industry Focus:RetailPosition Summary We are seeking an accomplishedIndustry Solutions Leader – Retailto drive the development and adoption of innovativeAI and Analytics solutions.This role sits at the intersection ofindustry expertise, advanced analytics, and client engagement , helping Retail organizations unlock value from their data assets and accelerate digital transformation. The Industry Solutions Leader will be responsible forconceptualizing, designing, and commercializing Retail-specific AI and analytics use cases— ranging fromcustomer behaviour and sales performance analyticstomerchandising optimization, pricing intelligence, inventory management, and supply chain efficiency . A critical part of the role involves partnering with oursales and client success teamsto support business development cycles, shape client solution roadmaps, and serve as atrusted advisor to C-level stakeholdersacross Retail, eCommerce, and Consumer Goods organizations.Responsibilities 1. Client Engagement & Pre-Sales:Participate in discovery sessions with prospective clients to understand business challenges, current operations, and data maturity. Collaborate with sales and solution architects to define business use cases, target outcomes, and solution scope. Conduct competitive and market research to inform solution design and positioning. Support creation and delivery of client-facing presentations, demos, and proof-of-concept plans. Develop pre-sales collateral including: Client problem statements and tailored value propositions Functional requirement outlines Workflow/process maps and high-level solution blueprints Contributions to RFPs/RFIs, SOWs, and proposals2. Project Delivery & Execution:Translate client business requirements into clear user stories and functional specifications for technical teams. Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and visualization experts to designdata pipelines, analytical models, and dashboardstailored to retail use cases such as customer segmentation, demand forecasting, and sales analytics. Lead or support requirement workshops, stakeholder interviews, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews. Validate analytical outputs against business needs through UAT and client feedback sessions. Manage documentation includingBRDs, wireframes, data dictionaries, test cases, and SOPs .3. Industry & Domain Expertise: Bring deep Retail domain knowledge in areas such as Customer Analytics, Merchandising, Pricing, Store Operations, Supply Chain, and Financial Planning. Work with common Retail and eCommerce data assets — including POS, CRM, inventory, logistics, loyalty, and digital engagement data. Stay current with emerging Retail analytics trends such as AI-driven personalization, dynamic pricing, omnichannel analytics, and demand sensing.Required Experience Bachelor’s degree inRetail Management, Business, Computer Science, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in business analysis, solutioning, or consulting roles supporting Retail clients — ideally at a consulting, analytics, or digital transformation firm. Strong understanding of thedata & analytics lifecycle(from ingestion to insight) and ability to bridge business needs with technical solutions. Proven experience contributing topre-sales deliverables, proposals, and solution design workshops. Hands-on experience with tools such asSQL, Excel, Power BI/Tableau , and familiarity with modern data platforms likeSnowflakeandDatabricks. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present tosenior client stakeholders. Experience withData Warehousing/Visualization toolssuch asDatabricks, Snowflake, Qlik Sense, and Power BI. Experience withCRM and Retail management systems(e.g.,Salesforce, SAP Retail, Oracle Retail, or Dynamics 365 ) and data models relevant to Retail analytics. Familiarity withcloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP)andagile delivery methodologies. MBA or a relevant master’s degreepreferred.
