The Company listed on the main market of the London Stock Exchange on 29 January 2021 (DOCS.L) and is a constituent of the FTSE 250 index.Technical Project Management As an Associate Technical Project Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering integrated technology solutions across Finance and Supply Chain — driving project execution, ensuring quality outcomes, and enabling business value.Main Responsibilities: Define project or programme scope, objectives, success metrics, and deliverables in collaboration with business and technology stakeholders. Create and maintain comprehensive project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and task dependencies. Develop and manage budgets, establish baselines, monitor expenditure, report variances, and support corrective actions. Coordinate internal teams, partners, and vendors to ensure timely, quality delivery across global initiatives. Identify, assess, and mitigate risks; manage changes in scope, timelines, or budget with appropriate controls. Ensure adherence to security, performance, compliance, and scalability requirements. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between business units, technical teams, and third parties. Lead or support Agile or hybrid delivery approaches, ensuring effective planning, ceremonies, and backlog management. Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders and sponsors, including status, risk, financials, and key decisions. Contribute to continuous improvement within the PMO, ensuring consistent governance and delivery standards.THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART Experience and Skills: Must-Haves: 8–10 years’ experience managing projects within enterprise technology environments. Direct involvement in delivering ERP projects, with a preference for Finance and supply chain modules Demonstrated success in delivering ERP initiatives or major Finance and/or Supply Chain technology programmes. In-depth knowledge of essential finance and supply chain business operations. Highly skilled at fostering collaboration between business stakeholders and IT teams. Comprehensive experience in planning, budgeting, and reporting activities. Well-versed in Agile and hybrid delivery frameworks. Proficient in utilising project management platforms such as Asana, JIRA, MS Project, as well as financial tracking and reporting tools. Track record of successfully managing global projects spanning multiple time zones, teams, and regulatory requirements. Experience collaborating with international teams and overseeing localisation or compliance across different regionsNice-to-Have: Exposure to enterprise ERP platforms, such as SAP, Oracle, D365, Infor, or Workday Experience in integrating ERP systems with planning tools, PLM, tax engines, or BI platforms Certifications in project management and delivery methodologies, including PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, and SAFe Proven vendor management or system integrator coordination experience Background in the fashion, retail, or consumer goods sectorsSoft Skills: Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, able to work seamlessly across business, technical, and vendor teams Excellent verbal and written communication, with the capability to tailor messages for both technical and non-technical stakeholders Confident stakeholder management, including executive-level communication and reporting High emotional intelligence and empathy; skilled at building trust and fostering a show-you-care team environment Effective facilitation of meetings, workshops, sprint ceremonies, and conflict resolution Resilient under pressure, remaining calm and solution-focused amidst shifting priorities or obstacles Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, adept at balancing technical constraints with business objectives Proven ability to influence without direct authority across teams and departments Adaptable and open to change within a fast-paced, evolving global business environment Commercially aware and disciplined with budgets, understanding the business impact of delivery decisions Proactive mindset with a robust sense of ownership and accountability for outcomes Strategic thinker, able to align project and programme goals with wider business objectivesAt DM your technical ability will go hand in hand with our leadership characteristics: Inspire people:share a vision and plan linked to our strategy; make people feel they are part of something bigger; grow your people’s confidence and capacity through coaching and development Think like a custodian:think and act strategically about the long-term health of DM; make courageous decisions to grow and protect the brand; leave DMs in a better place for consumers and the next generation of leaders Build connections:form authentic collaborative relationships; build self, talent, diverse & inclusive teams and partnerships; create space to have open and honest discussions with your team and peers Deliver results:empower and hold yourself and your people accountable; create a safe environment to drive performance and progress, not perfection; be agile, find solutions and deliver with integrity
