Marut Drones is seeking a visionary State Sales Manager to spearhead our commercial operations in Tamil Nadu. This is a high-impact, leadership role for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in agri-tech or farm mechanization sales. The role demands strategic market development, government liaison, distributor network expansion, and cross-functional collaboration to establish Marut's dominance in drone-enabled agricultural Responsibilities:Sales Strategy & Execution:

- Develop and execute robust state-level sales strategies aligned with Maruts growth objectives.

- Own the P&L responsibility for the state; drive revenue targets, sales forecasting, and performance metrics.

- Penetrate new geographies and unlock opportunities in large-scale drone adoption across public and private agricultural & Channel Development:- Establish and nurture strategic relationships with:

- State agriculture and horticulture departments

- Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs)

- Agri-input dealers and distributors

- Government procurement bodies and agri-cooperatives

- Lead awareness, adoption, and deployment of drone solutions for precision spraying, mapping, and Leadership & Operational Management:- Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing field sales and pre-sales team across Tamil Nadu.

- Drive performance through structured KPIs, field enablement, and continuous training.

- Champion a culture of accountability, customer success, and operational Intelligence & Competitive Positioning:- Monitor competitor strategies, market dynamics, and farmer sentiment to influence go-to-market refinements.

- Deliver actionable insights to the product, R&D, and marketing teams to evolve offerings.

Brand Advocacy & Institutional Representation:

- Represent Marut in government presentations, agri-tech expos, industry forums, and stakeholder summits.

- Promote Marut's vision for precision farming and sustainable agriculture at the policy and grassroots Bachelors degree in Agriculture, Agri-Business, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

- MBA in Sales/Marketing or PG Diploma in Agri-Marketing 8 to 12 years of progressive experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

- Demonstrated success in selling farm machinery, agri-equipment, drones, or related agri-tech solutions.

- Deep-rooted understanding of Tamil Nadus agri-input ecosystem, including government agencies, distribution networks, and end-user Strong business acumen with the ability to craft and execute high-level sales strategies.

- Fluency in Tamil and English is mandatory; Hindi is an added advantage.

- Proficiency in CRM tools, data-driven decision-making, and field performance analytics.
