Position Title: Manager- Warehouse and Logistics

Qualification:
- MBA in Supply Chain Management / Logistics Management/Operations Management (most preferred) or Graduate in Supply Chain / Logistics / Commerce / Engineering
Experience: 4 years - 9 years
Industry Preference: Health & Nutrition, FMCG (preferred)
Overview:
The Manager - Warehouse & Logistics will be responsible for overseeing and managing all warehouse operations related to Raw Material (RM) and Packaging Material (PM). This includes storage, inventory management, loading/unloading, logistics coordination, compliance with statutory and food safety requirements, and ensuring accurate documentation. The role is critical in ensuring smooth supply chain operations aligned with production and business goals.

Functional/ Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/WMS software.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, inventory management, and statutory compliances.
- Hands-on experience with ERP/WMS systems.
- Familiarity with FSSAI, food handling, audits, and documentation.
- Exposure to export processes with related documentation will be an added advantage.
- Need to ensure the scrape management, control on slow moving and dead stock.
Managerial Skills:
- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff of around 30-40 people to ensure operational efficiency.
- Work with Plant Head and Leadership team to drive the complete operational efficiency and effectiveness
Role Description (Roles & Responsibilities):
- Manage end-to-end operations of Raw Material (RM), Packaging Material (PM) and Finished Material (FG).
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, including loading and unloading of goods.
- Ensure timely availability of materials to the production team.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels, conduct periodic stock reconciliations, and reduce variances.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, food safety, and other statutory and audit requirements.
- Implement and monitor warehouse SOPs for storage, handling, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Ensure proper documentation of goods receipts, dispatches, material movements, and compliance records.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization and logistics costs.
- Should be able to effectively communicate with Vendors and cross functional teams.
- Manage transport vendors and coordinate with procurement and production teams for smooth operations.
- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse team comprising 1 AM, 4-5 Executives and 30 and40 material handlers in store and warehouse operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse and logistics processes.
- Knowledge of GMP, GHK and good documentation practices
