Senior SAP FICO Consultant Location:Chennai Experience:Minimum 10+ Years Role:Full-time Job Description We are looking for a highly experiencedSenior SAP FICO Consultantwith at least10+ years of experiencein retail consulting services or relevant business environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in implementing or supportingRetail business processes and applications , including bothIn-store and Ecommerce platforms .Key Responsibilities Work on SAP Finance Retail areas such asGeneral Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Banking, Taxation, Pricing, Promotions , and integration with SAP and Non-SAP systems. Participate in1–2 full-cycle S/4HANA Finance implementations . Demonstrate strong understanding of financial processes inGL, AP, AR, Procure to Pay, and Master Data . Work on FI module components:General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Banking(including related integrations). Work on CO module components:Cost Centres, Internal Orders, Profit Centres . Handle end-to-end processes forAP, AR, GL, Asset Accounting, Taxation, and Banking , along with tools such asBPM/Ariba/Concur/Blackline/Lucernex . Strong hands-on experience withSAP S/4HANA . Manage Master Data components includingGL master, Cost/Profit Centres, Vendor Master, Customer Master, Bank Master . Configure SAP Accounts Payable components such as vendor account groups, payment methods,F110 (APP) , payment types ( ISO 20022, Wire, SEPA, ACH, NEFT ), tax setup, and transmission methods to/from banks. Strong knowledge ofWithholding Tax, Payment Terms , and integration withPurchase Orders (2-way/3-way match) , SRM, Ariba, Coupa, and Vertex. Understanding of key S/4 functionalities likeBusiness Partnerand basic functionality ofMDG-S . Work extensively onFI/CO integrationwith Purchasing, Materials Management, and Sales & Distribution (SD). Experience working with bank interfaces forpayment files, positive pay files, lockbox, acknowledgements, MT940and third-party tools such asHigh Radius, Hans Orga . Good integration knowledge with middleware such asPIandSWIFT . Strong understanding ofdata migration strategies(master & transactional data including PO/GR-IR) fromECC to S/4HANA ; exposure toMDGSis a plus. Working knowledge of batch job scheduling and monitoring tools such asCA7andControl-M .Requirements Minimum10+ yearsof SAP FICO experience in retail domain. Strong hands-on knowledge ofS/4HANAFinance. Experience with SAP FICO configuration, integrations, and master data. Expertise in Retail Finance processes and cross-functional integration. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
